You can give yourself to someone and they still would not appreciate or need anything from you. You can give your heart to someone and they still can reject your love. You can be everything to someone but they can still choose to see nothing in you…honestly, this is hard to digest and accept.

But the reality of life is… just because YOU want something doesn’t mean the next person automatically wants the same thing. Just because you want to give someone something doesn’t mean they want it…THEY HAVE TO NEED IT FOR THEM TO WANT IT AND SEE ITS VALUE. We have to learn to make peace with these facts and understand that it is not a reflection of YOU but THEM.

It doesn’t mean you’re not worth or any less deserving of their love, time, and appreciation, it just shows that they are at a point in their lives where they can’t receive your love FOR WHATEVER REASONS…AND IT’S OKAY. Because no matter what you say or do, as long as THEY do not see the NEED, they will definitely not appreciate the gestures and they will not value them cause THEY DO NOT NEED THEM. This is why we should always pray for alignment.

God to give us the RIGHT PEOPLE that WANT WHAT WE WANT at a CERTAIN POINT in our lives. That’s why there are so many situations of WRONG PERSON, RIGHT TIME, and RIGHT PERSON, WRONG TIME.

I genuinely think loving each other isn’t that hard, we need people that align with what we want and with the same priorities at the right time in our lives. That way it is easier to love and compromise and even appreciate efforts cause then only then they would mean more to us cause its something we are also looking for. They can be amazing but not aligned with the timing of your life. Some people met amazing girlfriends when they wanted wives…and it’s not wrong that the girl couldn’t settle then. She probably had other priorities or was still too young. That doesn’t make them a bad person but any efforts towards marriage to her meant nothing to cause her timing was not aligning with your priorities.

Don’t lose hope just cause someone wasn’t ready to receive you at a certain point in their lives. Keep praying for alignment with your partner so that when you meet, you’re working together towards one GOAL and your priorities are the same and there is no pulling in different directions rather there is appreciation in the effort, not rejection.
