Book Review Credits: The next wave I read The Finance Curse a while ago but have only just got round to constructing a review. The book, by Nicholas Shaxson, was published in 2018, and is about the effects of an over-developed finance sector on the British economy. As you read it, you realise also that it explains the political economy of the United Kingdom.
